Metro - Baguette - Paris

The above pretty much sums up my French! After a 30 our visit to Denmark - where I went to the doctor and got the message that I have two more moles to have removed (DAMN IT!!!) - I am now in France somewhere near Bordeaux in a real Chateu for a 5 days wedding celebration... and I am the Photographer which basically means that I kinda have to stay sober... as the only one... I am wandering the streets of France with 7 Americans... never really realized before what it feels like to be looked at like that... The weather is beautiful here and the Chateu is like a little fairytale in itself... Yes! Life is good here on the other side... Good but different. I am still suffering a bit from The Kabuli Withdrawals and I have plenty more to write about Afghanistan... I just need a moment for myself to sort my head and then I am ready! For now... I am enjoying a bit if freedom in France... Maybe I should try some of those freedom Fries!
